A new latch
A new chain and hook on the gate to the Silverstream flood bank walk. Truth be told, it's a couple of new gates.

Winter cheer
These jonquils have been flowering for most of the winter. A lovely splash of colour on a bleak, grey day.

Spring's coming
I looked after this bush for years, probably about 30, as somehow it ended up split right down the middle. Probably the kids or the dog or a combination of both. This year it has thrived and is growing like Topsy. I always thought it was a daphne bush but it's not and I don't know the name of it. I'm pleased it's thriving but disappointed it's not what I was hoping, daphne has such a lovely scent. But I'll keep it when the bushes round about are cut down soon by son in law. I've nurtured it too long for it to go now. 😊
