Our Lady of Peace

The Roman Catholic Church in Roxburgh, New Zealand.

I didn't notice the bee in this until I put the photo up.
Guess it was enjoying the lavender.

  1. Either that's forced perspective or that's a huge bee!

We had a similar structure in our backyard when I was a kid. There was a little wall with an alcove, built by the previous owner. I think it was for a statue of Mary (which was no longer there).

  2. Diana, it's nice to see a simple Catholic church, here most are so large.
