Beautiful butterflies. I've been thinking in the last few years how much I miss seeing the Monarch butterfly in my part of the world. I then discovered that the population has radically declined and so there is an effort to plant milkweed which they feed on. I hope it is successful. Butterflies of any kind are a gift. Your Admiral is stunning.
ReplyDeleteOur garden centres sell swan plants with Monarch caterpillars on them in the hope of bringing the numbers back up again. They live on swan plants apparently. A very popular product I believe.
