Out walking one day and came across Islington, one of the original big homes on the Taieri. A hedge is a fence, yes, no? ...
Is the fence keeping them in or out? That is a big herd of them.
ReplyDeleteThis is only a small part of a large herd Rebecca and the fence is to keep them in. A deer farm not far from where I live.
DeleteI see these fences and animals on the backroads here in Taranaki, too, The deer seem to be quite happy with huge paddocks to run.

ReplyDeleteA good example of the tall fence required to control deer. They can jump fences that look tall, but don't quite work.
