B is for the peeling Bark on the gum trees.
joining in with:
a fun blog that takes you
through the alphabet twice a year.
Picked fresh from friends gardens and given to us. We'd already cooked and eaten some when I thought to take a photo.
These trees don't grow at my place but they are great.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI must confess to not ever having seen a gum tree before but I have heard the expression, 'Up a gum tree' which I believe is a euphemism for somebody in deep trouble... A gum tree is more commonly known particularly in Australasia as a Eucalyptus tree.
I use oil of Eucalyptus to clear my head when I have a cold.
They are most interesting trees.
Good picture,
Best Wishes,
ABCW team.
That's a strange tree, never have seen one like that !
