ReplyDeleteI must confess to not ever having seen a gum tree before but I have heard the expression, 'Up a gum tree' which I believe is a euphemism for somebody in deep trouble... A gum tree is more commonly known particularly in Australasia as a Eucalyptus tree.
I use oil of Eucalyptus to clear my head when I have a cold.
They are most interesting trees.
