B is for the peeling Bark on the gum trees.
joining in with:
a fun blog that takes you
through the alphabet twice a year.
A new path has been made up to the floodbank ... ... and the Silverstream is almost back to its normal level but running quite swiftly still...
These trees don't grow at my place but they are great.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI must confess to not ever having seen a gum tree before but I have heard the expression, 'Up a gum tree' which I believe is a euphemism for somebody in deep trouble... A gum tree is more commonly known particularly in Australasia as a Eucalyptus tree.
I use oil of Eucalyptus to clear my head when I have a cold.
They are most interesting trees.
Good picture,
Best Wishes,
